I have had my eye on an air couch for a while. Maybe you call them air loungers? Either way, I have wanted one for the last year. I didn’t have a need for it though. When you are planning to move into 300 square feet, you don’t get to buy things just because you want them.
When we started working on the skoolie demo, we still didn’t NEED an air lounger, but we could justify it. It provided a nice outdoor living room for the people who didn’t have a job at the moment. The boys used it to work on assignments and I might have taken a nap or two. So, here is what I love and what I don’t love about our new Sobelle air couch.
Air Couch Comfort:
Five stars for comfort! I didn’t expect to love the air couch so much. I didn’t expect to air it up and sit on it in my living room. It does a great job holding air and you don’t find yourself sitting flat on the ground. Also, it is the perfect size for two small children to sit together. The boys are loving doing homeschool from the comfort of this air couch!
Air Couch Space:
It folds up small. It takes up very little space. Another win for us!
Air Couch Ease of Use:
This one is a little more difficult to rate. If the wind is blowing, it is really easy to air up the couch. It inflates fast. If your husband is around to swing it through the air a few times, it inflates fast. If you are a child or a weakling like me, be prepared to get a workout. I’m actually embarrassed that I can’t inflate it fast and I feel like this says more about me and less about the product.
Pro Tip: Use your air conditioner vents to speed things up when you are inside.
Air Couch Pet Friendly:
We have a small dog. He is mostly blind. Dub the Skoolie Dog can’t understand why he can sit on the air couch with me, but not without me. It is actually funny and I need to take a video.
