doTERRA Build Guide: Sharing Oils for Beginners
This is my doTERRA Build Guide for those of you who want to share oils with others. These are a few things you can buy to get started. When I first signed up for doTERRA, I wanted to know how to start sharing and I wanted to know where to find all of the essential oils business tools. When you are just starting out, it is hard to know what tools are essential (see what I did there) and what can wait. Here are a few items that will help you get started.
1/4 Drams
As mentioned in our post about growing your doTERRA business, handing out essential oil samples is a great place to start. Drams allow you to do that. Click here to order the last ones we purchased.
5 ml Roller Bottles
5 ml roller bottles are a great way to create and share blends as samples or as gifts. Picking some up also allows you to start creating blends to use for yourself so you can tell people how amazing your essential oils are! This set of roller bottles comes with several other essential oil tools I’m going to mention below.
Essential Oil Key Tool
If you pick up the roller bottles I mentioned above, it comes with two essential oil key tools. You can move ahead! If you are going with another set of roller bottles, you can pick up an essential oil key tool at this link. It comes with labels and plastic pipettes, or you can click here just to purchase an essential oil key tool.
Carrier Oils
doTERRA suggests 1 drop of essential oil to 3 drops of carrier oils. You can read more about that here. They carry their own coconut oil, but you can purchase it at mot stores or online. You want to buy coconut oil that is unrefined. This means it has not going through the process of chemical extraction. Solid coconut oil, like this, works great for making home-made essential oil creams.
Diffuser
I will always, always, always stand by the fact that the Aroma Lite diffuser from doTERRA is the king of diffusers in this house. If you read about Chris’ allergy issues, you know he no longer wakes up with daily headaches because of doterra essential oils. He is proof that this diffuser is king. When he uses other diffusers, he wakes up with headaches again around day 3. We have our very own test subject-living proof.
I’ve bought 5 other diffusers online and all of them broke within the first month. One of them didn’t even work properly when it arrived. There is one diffuser that made it 6 months in our home, does a great job diffusing oils, and is affordable. If you are just starting and you want to wait on purchasing an amazing diffuser, you can settle for this one from Homeweeks. I like to give it to team members when they sign up so they can start experiencing oils through the power of diffusing. After all, our diffuser changed our lives.
You can find more diffuser recipes here.
Labels
Guys, when I first signed up for doTERRA, I had no idea they sold labels for the bottles. I was ordering them from another web sites and paying too much money. I also didn’t know that when creating blends, it would be a good idea to put the stickers on the blend bottle to show what I used. It is a quick, easy way to label bottles for personal use.
