Now that we have the floor plan figured out, I can narrow down which tiny sink for our tiny bathroom. Here is a look at the bathroom area of our floor plan:
So, you can’t tell my from my super fancy drawing, but the white space is actually all open area. It can be closed off with a curtain to create a bigger, somewhat private space, but it really just functions as a hall to our bedroom. This means that the sink area is open and separate from the shower and toilet.
You also can’t tell from my amazing work here (I don’t know if you have caught on to the fact that I’m trying to use sarcasm here), but part of the sink counter actually sits inside the wall so we will have some storage space in there too. This means that we need a longer counter and I would like to add a tiny vessel sink on top.
I’ve narrowed it down to a few choices. I’ll be honest, a couple of these don’t work with our skoolie style at all, but someone needs one of these tiny sinks in their tiny skoolie bathroom. I’m drooling, guys!
Turquoise Tiny Sink
Should a person change every plan they had for their tiny home because they find a tiny sink that is AMAZING? Probably not if that person is worried about being frugal like I am. I’m not buying this copper tiny sink, but someone seriously needs to. I am in love. Maybe in my next skoolie?
Stainless Steel Tiny Sink
This sink measures at 9.5 x 18″. Intended as a bar sink or a tiny prep sink, I can see the potential of adding this to my skoolie bathroom. I really want something that makes more of an impact in the area, but this tiny sink leaves a lot of open counter space. That is a win and it puts this sink on my list of ‘maybes’.
Tiny Vessel Sink
This tiny vessel sink comes in at 16″ x 12″ and it is my favorite sink for the space I am working with. It isn’t so much my favorite sink (I saved that for last), but I do think out of everything I’ve found it has the most potential.
Wall Mounted Tiny Sink
This glazed steel sink measures a little above 20″ x 14″ and I love everything about it. There are so many reasons why it won’t work in our skoolie. First, the faucet for this tiny sink is meant to come out of the wall. I still wanted to include it in case someone out there has an idea on how to make it work for us! Leave a comment below if you do!
I will add more to this list as I find them, so be sure to check it for more tiny sinks.
